My last My Creative Scrapbook reveal

Each month My Creative Scrapbook releases 4 fabulous kits. I didn't only create with the LE kit this month, but also worked with the beautiful main kit. This kit contains Simple Stories' Summer Fresh collection and is perfect for all your summer photos. 

This month will also be my last month as a DT member for My Creative Scrapbook. I had a hard time incorporating my assignments in my life as a student, so unfortunately I had to take the decision to step down from this amazing team. I felt like I couldn't give everything anymore and had to rush a bit when creating. I hope this will give me some more time to scrap just for me and to make scrapbooking a hobby instead of a 'task' again. Sometimes you just have to slow down a bit to not let time slip through your fingers and to enjoy each day a bit more. 

I really enjoyed being on this team for the past 1,5 year and feel very grateful for the wonderful people that I have met through this design team as well. So here we go...my last reveal for My Creative Scrapbook:

Elke maand brengt My Creative Scrapbook 4 mooie kits uit. Deze maand ging ik niet alleen aan de slag met de LE kit, maar mocht ik ook werken met de mooie main kit. De prachtige Simple Stories Summer Fresh lijn maakt deze kit ideaal voor het scrappen van je zomerfoto's.

Dit is tevens mijn laatste maand als DT-lid voor My Creative Scrapbook. Ik heb besloten wat minder hooi op mijn vork te nemen. De laatste tijd begon ik scrappen te zien als iets wat 'moet' in plaats van als hobby. 

Het kostte me vaak veel moeite om naast mijn schoolwerk alle layouts op tijd af te krijgen. Ik hoop dat ik van nu af aan weer meer voor mezelf kan scrappen. Soms moet je het wat rustiger aan doen om echt van de dingen te kunnen genieten. 

Ik heb het afgelopen anderhalf jaar met veel plezier dinigen gemaakt voor My Creative Scrapbook en ben blij dat ik zulke lieve mensen heb mogen ontmoeten door dit designteam. Maar dan nu...mijn allerlaatste creaties met hun kit:

 I had a lot of fun with the cardstock stickers on this layout. How cute is that clothesline?!

Op deze layout ben ik me heerlijk te buiten gegaan aan de cardstock stickers. Ik was helemaal weg van de waslijn met kleding.  

 My second layout is a beach layout. I had lots of fun with the scrapper's floss on this one. It is really easy to stitch through the floss, so you can easily attach it to your layout with a few simple stitches. 

Mijn tweede layout wilde ik een strandgevoel meegeven. Ik heb de golven genomen als uitgangspunt en heb geprobeerd de golfbeweging na te bootsen met flossdraad. Je kunt het floss heel makkelijk bevestigen op je layout door het op een aantal plaatsen vast te stikken.   

 On my third layout I did lots of fussy cutting. I cut out the 'doilies' and used them as decorative borders on my layout. 

Voor mijn derde layout heb ik mijn schaar tevoorschijn getoverd. De 'doilies' zijn uit het papier geknipt en heb ik gebruikt als decoratieve randen.

The kit also comes with a sheet of gingham fabric. I wanted to do something special with it and used it to alter a notebook. I also used the beautiful, custom made window frame on my cover.

In de kit zit ook een lapje rood wit geruite stof. Omdat ik niet echt handig ben met naald en draad, heb ik er een notitieboekje mee beplakt. Op de voorkant van het boekje heb ik tevens het chipboard raam verwerkt.
