Scraps of Elegance March kit reveal

Today it's reveal day at Scraps of Elegance and the March kit is a truly gorgeous kit! This kit is called 'Spring's promise'. It features Graphic 45's   'Secret Garden' collection, the beautiful Prima 'Divine' papers plus a bunch of wonderful embellishments. 

Vandaag is de maart kit van Scraps of Elegance bekendgemaakt. Deze heet 'Spring's Promise' en zit bomvol met papier uit de Graphic 45 'Secret Garden' collectie, Prima 'Divine' en veel mooie embellishments. Hierbij eerst een overzichtsfoto van de kit:

So far I have made one lay-out and a tag with this kit. I will start with my lay-out, which is based upon the beautiful sketch that comes with this kit. For this lay-out I did a lot of fussy cutting and layering. The photo is one of my niece Naomi and me. We were having a lot of fun with the self-timer last year and this photo was the outcome.

Voor nu heb ik één lay-out en één tag te laten zien, die ik met deze kit heb gemaakt. Als eerste mijn lay-out en tevens mijn uitwerking van de sketch van deze maand. Op deze lay-out ben ik flink losgegaan met mijn schaar en foamtape. Alle bloemen, vogels en kooitjes zijn uit het papier geknipt. Op de foto staan mijn nichtje Naomi en ik. Deze foto was het resultaat van een kwartiertje giechelen en giebelen voor de zelfontspanner ;)

Dit is de mooie sketch die ik ter inspiratie heb gebruikt. Ik hoop dat hij nog een beetje herkenbaar is...

I also made a tag with some of the beautiful Prima papers and chipboard pieces in this kit. 

Met een paar vellen Prima papier en chipboard embellishments uit de kit maakte ik onderstaande tag.
