Two Bo Bunny Cards (Mix & Match)

This week it's all about mixing and matching at the Bo Bunny blog. For my post on the Bo Bunny blog I decided to make two cards on which I mixed a few different collections. 

My first card is a very feminine one. I just love the pink tones in the gorgeous Primrose collection and wanted them to stand out more. That's why I decided to mix this collection with a bit of The Avenues and Winter Woodland, because both collections have some wonderful neutral papers that beautifully contrast with the pink in Primrose.

Deze week draait het op het Bo Bunny blog allemaal om 'mix & match', oftewel verschillende lijnen door elkaar gebruiken. Voor mijn blogpost op het Bo Bunny blog besloot ik twee kaarten te maken waarop verschillende lijnen zijn verwerkt. 

Mijn eerste kaart is een nogal meisjesachtig exemplaar. Ik ben helemaal weg van de mooie roze tinten in de Primrose collectie en wilde dat deze meer zouden opvallen. Daarom heb ik de Primrose lijn gemengd met een beetje van The Avenues en Winter Woodland. Door de neutrale tinten in deze lijnen kwam het roze uit de Primrose lijn beter tot zijn recht.

I mixed the Primrose collection with one sheet of paper from the Woodland Winter collection and one die-cut from the The Avenues Noteworthy package. My cluster in the middle was made from a Primrose Noteworthy die-cut and a couple of chipboard pieces. I further embellished  my card with some bling and butterflies. 

Ik heb de Primrose lijn gecombineerd met één vel uit de Winter Woodland lijn en één die-cut uit de The Avenues Noteworthy verpakking. Het cluster in het midden van de kaart bestaat uit een Primrose die-cut en een aantal chipboard stickers. Verder is de kaart versierd met strass steentjes en vlinders.

My second card has a more cute feel to it. The Pincushion and Baby Bump collections both offer some beautiful orange and white papers, that match each other perfectly. Therefore, I decided to mix the two collections when making this card. I actually used papers from the beautiful Pincushion collection, whereas all embellishments come from the lovely Baby Bump collection.

Mijn tweede kaart heeft een meer schattige uitstraling. Zowel de Pincushion als de Baby Bump collectie hebben een aantal mooie oranje en witte vellen papier, die perfect bij elkaar passen. Ik heb de twee lijnen dan ook gecombineerd op mijn kaart. Alle gebruikte papier is uit de mooie "Pincushion" lijn, terwijl de embellishments uit de "Baby Bump" lijn komen.

I layered four papers on top of each other and then did some die-cutting with my die-cut machine. I added all elements in the center of  my card. I then started embellishing my card with a couple of wonderful chipboard embellishments from the Baby Bump collection. Some of them are covered with a bit of glitter glue.

Op mijn kaart heb ik met vier laagjes papier gewerkt. Daarnaast heb ik een aantal gestanste figuren gebruikt, waaronder een doily en een bloemenkrans. Daarna ben ik begonnen om de kaart te versieren met de mooie chipboard bloemen uit de Baby Bump lijn. Sommige van de chipboard figuren zijn ook nog versierd met glitterlijm.
